Dear Alumni & Friends of Life University, As we celebrate another year of growth and excellence at Life University, I am deeply honored to address you in our annual Your Extraordinary LIFE magazine that has become a staple for the University over the years and is, in essence, our year in review. Our theme for this year centers around how Life University’s academic programs “Optimize the Human Experience.” It is with great pleasure that we share with you the remarkable strides Life U has made in this pursuit, as well as reflect on the outstanding successes we have sustained over the course of many years. Life University has always been devoted to the holistic development of our students, empowering them with the education, skills and values to maximize the perfection within, based upon a vitalistic philosophy. Our academic programs are at the heart of this mission, and over the years, we have strived to create an environment that nurtures not only intellectual growth, but also emotional, physical, mental and spiritual development. We understand that education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms and expands to character development and values. In our relentless dedication to academic excellence, we ensure that each of our programs align with our commitment to optimizing the human experience, whether it’s one of our undergraduate, graduate, professional or online degree programs. Our faculty members, renowned experts in their fields, continue to inspire and mentor our students. Their dedication to fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment is second to none. Together, we have cultivated a culture of curiosity, empathy and innovation that enables our students to explore their full potential. The recent Life Vision Extravaganza event held at the Cobb Galleria Centre was an extraordinary success. The event’s new location allowed us to reach a wider audience and foster a greater sense of community. Not to mention, the change from a five-day to three-day event provided much more flexibility for our attendees to not have to shut down their practices for as long as they’ve had to in the past. The event itself was momentous, marked by enlightening conversations and impactful insights by some of the most well renowned voices in the chiropractic profession. One of the highlights of the event was my conversation with special guest and presidential nominee Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. that closed out the CE portion of the event. Here, we discussed the major healthcare challenges we are facing today as a nation. It was a privilege to engage with such a visionary leader. Our Life Chiropractic Centers are another integral aspect of Life University’s commitment to holistic education. These centers serve as both training grounds for our future chiropractors and as a means to provide essential health care to the general public. The hands- on experience our students gain at these centers is invaluable, shaping them into compassionate and skilled healthcare practitioners. Beyond that, our centers play a vital role in promoting the wellness of our local communities, reinforcing our mission to optimize the human experience for all. I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to the entire Life University community. Our students, faculty, and staff continue to be the driving force behind our success. Your unwavering dedication and passion for our mission inspire me daily, and I am humbled to serve as your president. Our alumni and friends have been steadfast supporters, offering their time, resources and expertise to help us achieve our goals. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the world, one life at a time. As we move forward, our resolve to maximize the expression of the perfection within all individuals remains steadfast. We will continue to innovate and evolve, ensuring that our academic programs and university initiatives empower our students, faculty and staff to lead purposeful and fulfilling lives. We will expand our reach, fostering connections that enrich our community and extend our influence. And we will remain true to our mission of promoting vitalistic health and wellness, both in our classrooms and in the communities we serve. In closing, I invite you to join us in our journey. Your support, whether through mentorship, philanthropy or simply sharing your Life University story, is invaluable. Together, we can continue to transform lives and make a meaningful difference in the world. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to Life University. I look forward to the exciting developments and achievements that lie ahead as we work together to create a brighter future. Sincerely, President Rob Scott, D.C., Ph.D. FROM THE PRESIDENT You may have noticed this issue is a little lighter than the past few years, and you’d be right. In a concerted effort to align with our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, Life U has decided to significantly reduce the page total of the print version of our annual magazine. By adopting a more concise format, we aim to minimize our ecological footprint and contribute to a greener future. 1 Alumni.life.edu | 2023
