In a celebration of dedication and perseverance, Life University proudly presents the “Will Not Stop” Award to two of its most committed and passionate advocates: Dr. Stu and Eve Katzen. This prestigious recognition honors Dr. Stu’s unwavering support for the chiropractic profession and Dr. Stu’s alma mater, Life U. Dr. Katzen, a 1997 Life U graduate, has dedicated his life to the principles and practice of chiropractic care. Since obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master’s in Sport Health Science the same year, Dr. Katzen has been a beacon of excellence and dedication in the chiropractic community. His journey, however, is not one he has traveled alone. Eve Katzen, his wife and partner, shares his passion for health and wellness. Their partnership is not only a testament to their love but also to their shared commitment to the chiropractic profession. Meeting through the chiropractic community in Philadelphia, their paths converged and evolved together, driven by a mutual dedication to a vitalistic lifestyle and the principles of Chiropractic. Dr. Katzen’s involvement with Life U has been profound and multifaceted. From early in his career, he demonstrated his commitment to nurturing the next generation of chiropractic professionals. His journey with the University began with student recruiting events, where he inspired and motivated young minds to pursue a chiropractic education. His leadership roles, including serving as the president of the Alumni Association and then, later, as a current member of the Board of Trustees, highlight his enduring dedication to the institution that shaped his career. Eve Katzen, though not a chiropractor herself, has played an indispensable role in supporting Dr. Katzen and their shared mission. As a health coach and fitness educator, she brings her expertise to their practice, Pure Life Chiropractic, in South Carolina. Mrs. Katzen’s dedication extends beyond their practice; she actively supports Dr. Katzen in his endeavors with Life U, embodying the spirit of partnership and collaboration. The Katzen’s story is one of evolution and growth, both personally and professionally. Their move from Philadelphia to South Carolina three years ago marked a new chapter in their lives, one that allowed them to reinvent themselves and their practice. Despite the challenges, their decision to start anew has been a resounding success, driven by their unwavering commitment to their values and the chiropractic profession. Their practice, now streamlined and wellness-based, reflects their dedication to providing optimal health and well-being to their patients. The Katzen’s decision to operate as a 100% cash practice underscores their commitment to their principles, ensuring that their practice aligns with their lifestyle and professional values. Furthermore, the Katzen’s dedication to Life U and the chiropractic profession extends beyond their practice. Dr. Katzen’s involvement with LIFEforce, an initiative dedicated to expanding access to chiropractic care and education, exemplifies their shared mission. The mission of LIFEorce: “We will not stop till every person on this planet has access to chiropractic care or a chiropractic education,” resonates deeply with the Katzen’s, inspiring them to continue their advocacy and support. Dr. Katzen’s recognition as the inaugural LIFEforce Chiropractor of the Year in 2008 is a testament to his enduring impact on the profession. Their commitment to the principles of Life U’s foundational value of Lasting Purpose: to give, to do, to love, to serve, out of your own abundance – is a guiding light for their endeavors. Their philanthropic work, driven by the desire to give without expectation, embodies the essence of Lasting Purpose and serves as an inspiration to their peers and future generations. Receiving the “Will Not Stop” Award is a moment of profound gratitude and honor for Dr. Stu and Eve Katzen. It is a recognition of their relentless dedication, their unwavering commitment and their enduring passion for the chiropractic profession and Life U. As they continue their journey, they remain steadfast in their mission to inspire, educate and serve, embodying the true spirit of the “Will Not Stop” Award. In Dr. Katzen’s own words, “We do what we love, and we love what we do. We can’t think of a more noble cause than helping our profession, Chiropractic, and Life U.” This award is not just a recognition of their past achievements but a celebration of their ongoing commitment to a future where chiropractic care and education are accessible to all.
